Tri-State Hospital Supply Centurion Brand Trays and Kits: Class 1 recall due to lack of sterility

04/03/2009 - Tri-State Hospital Supply Corporation and FDA notified healthcare professionals of a class 1 recall of multiple types of Centurion brand disposable trays and kits used for insertion of tubes, catheters and ports, due to package sealing that may effect the sterility of the devices. These products were distributed from November 24, 2008 through January 7, 2009. Distributors and customers were instructed to remove the products from their inventory, inform the company of the number of products in stock and hold the products until the company arranges for their return.
