Yamaha side-by-side vehicles recalled

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of 2008 models YXR450 and YXR700 Yamaha-brand side-by-side vehicles due to a safety hazard.
The CPSC said the Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corp. of Newnan, Ga., initiated the recall of approximately 7,800 vehicles because the brake caliper on the left front wheel might have been made incorrectly, resulting in a leakage of brake fluid that could pose a safety hazard.
The vehicles were sold nationwide from October 2007 through March 2008 for between $8,300 and $12,000.
